YouTube, Music & Talents

I just love music and I simply listening to any music that seems to have the same frequency or resonance with the rhythm of my body.

I’ve been watching a lot of music videos on YouTube. I rarely watch official music videos of the artists such as Rihanna, Lady Gaga, etc (I mean those who already have a record label or signed to any companies). Most I watch music videos of unsigned artist or those who haven’t have a recording label yet such as Sam Tsui & TylerWard, etc. I feel that their music videos are better in the sense of how the video actually shows the talent of the artists instead of some official booty-licious, sexy, irrelevance and nonsense music videos of recorded artist.

I think YouTube is really good way to show off the talents that we have. I guess YouTube really made an effort to think of their tagline “Broadcast Yourself.” And it is very true when I see very talented people having above 500 000 views on their videos!

Plus, it’s not just the videos of these talented people are so cool. In fact, their music, the way they improvise it, some of them are much better than the original artist. For example, the song Love the Way You Lie, the version of Tyler Ward is way much better than Rihanna’s version!

So, thank you YouTube for the great idea of “Broadcast-ing Yourself”. There are really great talented people all over YouTube!

Me & My Music

Music has been part of me since I was a kid. I used to cry to go for my music lessons but now music and me - we're just inseparable.
I feel like doing my degree in music suddenly. Well, yeah, I want to be a musician - not exactly as my career (but maybe it could just happen) but just for satisfaction.
It doesn't matter whether I get famous or not (who cares???). I just want people to enjoy the music I make -my music. But if I do get famous and be on the "Hall of Fame", I don't mind at all.

I wish I could have my own band - lead & bass guitarist, drummer & I'll play the keyboard/piano and I'll sing. We could practice and then go jam in the studio for recording.. Haha!!! It might sound crazy, but there it is - I'm just speaking my heart out.
So, any guitarist or drummer out there (preferably with a music background) wanna get together and make a band? I'm in!

Going Back to UTM

Ok.. So, it's Friday, and I'll be going back tomorrow night to UTM.. Duh!
It's really nice to be home... I can wake up at 10am and still have both my breakfast and lunch.
Back in UTM, I gotta just have my brunch... Hmmm.....

And back home, I can sit anywhere to do my work; change my position; do whatever I can to get comfortable when I want to do my work...

Hmmm... That's all... I dunno what else to say...

Crappy Lyrics

I can't seems to get the feel to write my lyrics.. I don't know how I wrote it the last time... And that was it.. The first and last time of writing.. And that was it... And I just can't seems to get anymore lyrics out of me...
Hmmm....

Wanna Stay Home..

I'm back home for the CNY holidays as well as it is my mid-sem break...
I really wish I didn't have to go back to UTM... I feel better to study here.. At home... Like how I used to study doing my SPM....
I can just sit anywhere I like.. Changing place that I study seems to help...
Back in UTM, I only have my bed and my table... Library jauh... =(

At home, makanan sentiasa ada... Macam2 ada... Kalau boring, boleh masak.. Hee...
Hmm.. Tak nak balik UTM boleh tak???

Good but Weird

Today, as of 7th January 2011, Friday, things just seems to be just good. Only that a few weird things happened today.

Ok.. I'll start from the very first thing that happened in the morning. I woke up, checked my mail and I just had a new order on Fiverr. Great!

Then, I went for my first class around 8.40am. Only Andrew and I were in the class. Just how the heck did I forget the class was canceled????!!!! Anyway, it's good, no class. So, to fill in the time before the next class, we went to update our Matric Card. Done that and then went for the next class... A few minutes after 10am, someone entered the class and said that the class was canceled cuz the lecturer couldn't come. Oh man! Sigh.. Thank God the class after that was on. If not, we would have woken up for nothing today!

After class, lunch. FREE LUNCH!!! Nasi kerabu.. Woo-hoo... Blue color rice. Didn't want to eat at first after looking at the color, but since it's free, hentam je la... It was not bad anyway... =)
Since the cafe was full, so I just had to sit with anyone. It happened to be that I was sitting with two Masters' students and they were quite friendly. Check out weird thing No. 1: They said I should take part in something like Miss Malaysia ke, Miss World ke.... HAHAHA... How weird is that??? It's good since I do have that thoughts once in awhile.. But it's just weird to hear that from someone - especially someone who just knew me.. Pelik kan??? And that's it for the afternoon.

~Time for horizontal meditation~
I had my dinner around 6 something I guess. And after paying for the food, the uncle that jaga the cafe said -- check out weird thing No. 2: "You kena jadi model, buat modelling cuz you nampak fotogenik." Wah wah wah wah....... And that is like for the second time of the day. From where are all these coming suddenly???? Isn't it weird...??? But it feels good anyway... Hehe..

Well, I guess that's all for now, as of 7th Jan. 2011, 7.47PM.
